ABOUT

I am a visual artist who works across a multi-disciplinary spectrum, predominantly creating temporary sculptural installations. A combination of which feels fun and unsettling, analogous to attempting to negotiate and navigate adult life.

The work displays themes of age, access, gender, colour and social conditioning. These themes take shape in low-grade DIY sculptures in a set design format or assemblage sculptures.

The work is not a solid or fixed object, previous works exist only through documentation. Objects are interchangeable, one touch and the whole thing will fall the pieces. Precarious objects birthed in a precarious way. Also, behind the colourful aesthetic there is an uncomfortable level of anxiety between objects. My interests are growing further into the value of all things seemingly useless; unexceptional things are part of being human.
